hippies suck

okay most of you know that i love the underdog and will fight tooth and nail for the underprivileged. i love minority populations or those that have had their power stripped from them. but everyone has their limits. mine: hippies. i just don't get it. i recognize that this is totally prejudice, but hear me out. they are totally underprivileged by choice! basically their philosophy is to strip their own power. um... i don't get that. i mean don't get me wrong, i think the word 'power' can be scary too and that if used incorrectly can disenfranchise people for the the benefit of others and that, my friends is wrong. so the idea of living communally is actually somewhat attractive to me, you know "it takes a village" attitude, it's nice. however, this is what i consistently find with the hippies: little dirty, little lazy and smoke way too much pot = i'm bored of you and don't feel that you are really contributing. last night some friends and i went to this little concert thing and it was at this gross hippie place. sher had to use the bathroom, so we ventured to find if there was actually going to be a working toilet. we found said bathroom, which was a single stall. there was someone in there and i heard her flushing numerous times. hippy woman came out of bathroom stall and said with her face all scrunched up, "i did a doody."
ew. please don't say that. ever. i wasn't sure why she was telling me this, so i said, "oh, well did it flush?" cause i wasn't about to walk in there if she left a special present. "yea, yea it flushed but it's not going to smell like petunias or anything." okay. thanks for the info. she then went into her home. that's right, her home. cause she lived there. the bathroom was disgusting by the way and i suggest sherry get caught up on her hep shots. so yea, communal also for some reason seems to mean dirty. use a toilet brush people. please.
on a lighter note we were very entertained by the show. here's a little taste of what you missed.

she's amazing. and not a hippie. a lovely midwestern woman, who sure as hell can entertain.
